My darling sister way out in Colorado has filed a complaint that I'm updating my writer's site all the time and I have ignored this one. All I can say is yes, yes I have. I'm trying to be super diligent about posting each weekday on my other site (www.megankbickel.blogspot.com) and I'm flat-out avoiding this one. Why? Because I'm lazy! : )
So, I will give you a quick update here:
Jack: Is LOVING preschool. He has a totally fit every day he doesn't have school. He finds it unfair and downright unjust that he doesn't get to go everyday. Today I told him (for the 5 millionth time) to get his finger out of his nose. He replied, "But I found something!" Such is Jack.
Henry: Is LOVING kindergarten. I admit I was worried about Henry taking to the schedule and rules of school, but it was so unfounded. If you ask him, he will sing you a little song about how to spell any color. Although, I haven't heard one for cerulean yet. He recently really enjoyed a unit on apples. After coming home everyday of the week with a new fun apple fact to share, Luke asked him on Friday what he learned in school that day. He replied, "Well, we didn't learn anything about apples," in a totally annoyed and aghast manner. He is in soccer, but getting tired of it.
William: Is such a third grader! The gentle call of the need to argue with one's parents because you know far more than they ever could apparently starts in third grade. Who knew? He is, of course, doing beautifully in school. He actually cried both days I made him stay home from school last week when he had a fever. Strange kid, that one! : ) He has lost his other upper front tooth and looks adorable. He rocks soccer as an awesome defender and wants to play every chance he gets.
Luke & I: VERY BUSY! We hardly know if we are coming or going, but such is life.
